mean joe bean
What’s that you smell? Freshly brewed coffee? Or, freshly brewed beer? Our Mean Joe Bean smashed these two together to tickle your taste buds, just like Mean Joe tickles the strings of his bass. It’s time for a revolution! Introducing a pleasantly aromatic, full bodied blonde ale exploding with coffee flavour! We grew tired of seeing darker beers dominating the wonderful world of coffee. Rejoice, and awaken your senses to this light, crisp, and refreshing way to get your coffee fix. Our search for the perfect bean for this brew led us to Laughing Whale Coffee Roasters in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, where we found their delicious Morning Mantra Roast. Step out of the darkness and into the light! Cheers to Mean Joe Bean!
Commander Rye-ker Imperial Rye IPA showcases Amarillo hops exclusively, continuously and relentlessly added to a 75 minute boil and dry hopped in the fermenter. Despite the heavy hand on hops, and thanks to a massive mash, Rye-Ker’s bitterness balances with a solid malt backbone. As the name suggests, a touch of canadian rye malt rounds off the Amarillo fruitiness with a subtle spicy kick. Clean and crisp North American Ale yeast ensures incredible slammability without detracting from its colossal punch!
